Eurostar has reported continuing year-on-year growth in the period to 30 September 2014 (Quarter Three). Compared to the same period in 2013, the company says that passenger numbers grew by 3% to 2.8 million while sales revenues rose by 2% to £211 million, and that these figures mark ten consecutive years of growth. The new entrance to London Fenchurch Street station on Cooper’s Row opened to passengers on 17 October. The entrance, the third for the station, is part of a £4 million upgrade of the station by Network Rail and train operator c2c, which will also see the creation of a second staircase from the station’s mezzanine level to the Cooper’s Row and Tower Hill entrances.
